About Me

I’m a Design Lead, Art Director, and Design Technologist who believes the best creative work is built on a solid technical foundation. Originally from Denver, Colorado, I now live in Greenville, South Carolina, with my wife, Jessica. My career began in graphic design and evolved through interactive development, teaching me early on that digital products succeed when design and code are treated as a single, unified discipline.

Strategy Meets Execution

I pride myself on a "concept-first" approach. Whether I’m revitalizing a higher education brand or optimizing a conversion funnel for a Fortune 500 company, my goal is to find the strategic "why" that drives an audience to act. My background allows me to navigate the entire project lifecycle—translating complex client needs into creative briefs, and turning those visions into scalable technical requirements without losing the original creative intent.

From the early days of pixel-perfect digital craftsmanship to leading creative strategy for national brands, I’ve always focused on the intersection of high-end art direction and digital reality. I don't just design for the web; I build for it.

Beyond the Desk

When I’m not at my desk, I’m usually looking for a new frontier to explore. My Colorado roots gave me a deep appreciation for the outdoors, and I stay active through hiking, biking, and camping across the Upstate. While I’ll always be at home in the mountains, I’ve fully embraced life in South Carolina—whether that’s paddleboarding on the lake, heading to the coast for a beach day, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. These moments away from the screen keep my perspective fresh and fuel the energy I bring to every creative challenge.
